When the elders imprisoned Metis, they took every precaution to protect the Estilorian plane against her evil.

It wasn’t enough.

Now she’s escaped, and no one is safe. Fueled by hatred, she wastes no time imposing vengeance on those who captured her. She knows the surest way to destroy their lives is by taking what they love most, and she begins with a child named Eden.

Years later, Eden remembers none of her former life. She serves her “Master,” unaware of the family still searching for her. But as her eighteenth birthday approaches, memories begin to surface, and she questions her circumstances for the first time.

Eden’s confusion mounts when she’s joined by Connor, a handsome Elphresti male who reveals things that shatter her reality. They’ll end up on the run, knowing they can trust only each other. After all, Metis will stop at nothing to get them back, and she thrives on her ability to deceive.

Deceive An Estilorian Novel eBook Raine Thomas

I loved the book but after the 6 previous books, this one seemed a bit predictable. I still thoroughly enjoyed it and finished it within 1 day because I couldn't put it down.

I knew who would end up together (since I'm trying to avoid spoilers) within the first chapter of the book. I also, sort of, knew what was going to happen. (I knew that somehow there'd be separation from the group). I loved finding out all of the hows!

I have this problem often after so many books from the same author... as long as it doesn't get as bad as some others where I can even figure out the how, we're good. When an author that I've been reading for a while can surprise me, that's when I become their #1 fan...

I definitely recommend this series to anyone that's into this genre.

Deceive An Estilorian Novel eBook Raine Thomas Reviews

I am absolutely in love with the characters and storylines from Ms. Thomas. I am really hoping there is more to come in the very near future.
I have read and enjoyed all the books in this series and I'm glad I did. I loved Eden and Connor and it was fun revisiting old friends as well as meeting new ones. I'm going to keep an eye out for future works and I anyone who likes action, fantasy, and romance should read this series.
The books in this series just keep getting better and better.
I lived the story and couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend it
I love this book. I couldn't put it down and read it in one night and it was a very late night. Now my daughter is reading it and she and I both love the entire series we have been hook from book 1 πŸŒΊπŸ‘
I am a big Raine Thomas fan and this one has to be one of my favourites by my favourite. This is her 7th full Estilorian novel and even though the others are incredible, this one is certainly the best one yet. As usual her characters are amazing and real even though it is set in a fantasy world. Her villian is the worst and her heroes, although flawed, crawl into your heart and stay there long after the last word is read. I certainly hope this is not the last Estilorian awesomeness we get to experience!
The series is entertaining and gets better as the books continue. I wouldn't recommend reading this as a stand alone though.
I really liked the characters Metis and Scout. The villain is far more complex and interesting than her other two in previous trilogies. And her main female character is the first one in all the books that I actually connected with. The others although interesting just really lacked something.
All in all, if you are looking around for a series to pass the time then I would give this one a try.
